It was a long day for the riders on Saturday. Slopestyle semi finals and finals all in one day. The course was in perfect condition by the time the riders started riding. It was a rainy week leading up to Crankworx, but in the end it all came together for a great show.

Looks like the Claymore results all over again!
I read every post to date on this and from what i hear, andrea or my favorite in this "andreu Lick-on-dick-eye" really didn't show alot of class out there, im sorry but his sponsors must be pissed because they paid shit loads for him to be there, have a nice hotel and have sick equipement for him to straight air and ditch. maybe he was sick, maybe there was to much wind but like, that's not cool andreu and im sure if he pulls something like this at whistler he'll get dropped by some big sponsors
Idk what was up with Andreu, he kept straight airing everything, i dont think it was mechanical either, he did it over like 2-3 times

i thought they gave semenuk to high a score on his first run so that the competition was over before it even began.
that's a little bit what I was feeling too... but he was the best to be honest, but would have been more exciting to watch it they didn't gave him so much after first run.
They need to throw out the qualifer score once they get to the finals. Semenuk just did victory laps after the high scoring run. It doesn't make them push harder and it sucks for the fans.
I hope Yannic Granieri gets a sponsor, cuz he placed 12 and is the only nonsponsored rider in the top 15.

lacondeguy didnt even try, just straight airs. bearclaw did a sick 3 off the first drop but then his tires popped. dunno about AT
they picked favorites with semenuk.
watts and dueck did awesome runs every time and didnt come close to semenuks score.

man i totaly agree these events are wicked but it seems every year they pick a fav just like the year claw 3'd the road gap and had a killer run and still finished 2nd to paul bass
in my opinion Semenuk didn`t deserve it..His run was ok, nothing too special, for me Dueck should have take the win!
I`m not saying that Semenuk sucks, don`t flame me! I`m just comparing Semenuks run with Duecks run, and in my oppinion Dueck kicked some ass!

Semenuk makes stuff look so easy that its not always as impressive because he doesnt make it look super hard.
Where was Mccaul.
Where was Mccaul.
Andreu HATES riding in the wind. I didn't see the live feed so I don't know if conditions were bad but that could have been a factor.
"If it is windy you have to ride, the contest is now, you have to ride" to quote a certain Lick-on-dick-eye.
wind shouldn't be a factor for these riders. Qasqai Munich a few years ago. a ten meter double and a hard side wind, they were just riding it like there was no wind at all.
I agree but from what I understand he had a huge crash where he broke something in the wind. Qashqai London it was super windy and the only people to put decent runs together were Pilgrim and Mcdermott. Everybody struggled with it. Im not making excuses for Lacondeguy but its his loss if he can't compete in the wind, he doesnt need to be slated for it.
Yeah well, There's something to be said for that too, i was a bit to shallow on that, agreed.
Andreu is obviously one of the best riders when he's excited about it, but when everyone is ripping it up, like this crankworx colorado, it sure looks strange to see him do what he did. Makes me intrested for his reason, not for agreeing of disagreeing but just for knowing it. But we'll see what he's up too for Crankworx Whistler don't you think! I think Soderstrom or Semenuk is taking it, although i hope for Bass.

Your right man, none of us can be sure because we aren't inside that crazy head of his!
Not sure about Soderstrom as he'll be on a hardtail, from what I saw of the boneyard a couple weeks ago there will be some heavy landings. For sure it would be good to see him take it though, he's definately got the tricks to do it.

Andreu Lacondeguy Was already qualified for Crankworx Whistler, so he was refusing to throw any tricks because he was cowardly. During his final run the announcers called him out on this during his run, he got mad and tried to throw a superman, and landed on his stomach and looked like an idiot. Everyone was laughing at him. Next time, don't compete unless you are going to compete.
The claw had a mechanical issue first run, then came in too fast second run after 3ing the drop in and had to ghost ride off the "catchers mitt". At least he was trying unlike someone else...
Im pretty sure he cased his first 3 and wrecked, then over rotated all of 20 degrees and his rear tire exploded. His bike looked pretty funny after he ghosted it.
"Congrats to all the riders and best wishes to Alex Pro and Danny Brodie!"
What does he mean by best wishes to them?

semenuk is honestly at another level compared to all the riders there. he wasn't even doing all the tricks he can do and he still owned.
yea semenuk coulda tryed harder in the contest, but he was the first rider to have a run completely with style, so thats how he got such good points. and i cant wait to see what he does in whistler.

John Cowan 31.50
Darren Berrecloth 21.50
Andreu Lacondeguy 21.2
The bottom 3???
ARE YOU KIDDING ME GUYS? These 3 are supposed to be some of the top. Andreu is especially a let down in my eyes...

Lacondeguy only made himself look like a jerkoff with his jerkoff air...at that level he should show a little class.

Canon 50D, sigma 24-60mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, and a 70-200mm F4L, three pocketwizards and Vivitar flashes.
ah i used and liked the 2500 altho i believe there isnt as much alteration now i use my bowens gemini 400 travel kit
The Claw is the man! He was lying down the most dialed runs in practice. But due to bike problems( blew out his f*cking tire on the drop when 3ing it in the semi's!!!) he could not finish. The Claw is still one of the most dialed riders in the game!
